GLRI Funds Habitat Improvement and Green Infrastructure Projects in Chicago-Calumet Region

(Nov. 14, 2018) Chi-Cal Rivers Fund partners recently announced the selection of six projects to receive $1.25 million in grants to improve and enhance waterways in the Chicago-Calumet region. Great Lakes Restoration Initiative funding totaling $462,000 was provided through the National Fish and Wildlife Foundation to support two of the six projects: a National Audubon project to restore critical marsh habitat in the Little Calumet River watershed and an OAI, Inc. project to install green infrastructure in the Village of Robbins, Ill.
