EPA announces finalists for GLRI grants to address nutrients in the Great Lakes

(Dec. 19, 2019) U.S. Environmental Protection Agency has selected 21 organizations to receive $11.5 million in GLRI funding to address nutrient runoff from agriculture and stormwater nonpoint sources. This includes five innovative water-quality trading projects which will promote cost-effective and market-based approaches to reducing excess nutrients to surface waters.
