NOAA Announces 2024 Great Lakes Bay Watershed Education and Training Funding Opportunity

NOAA’s Great Lakes Bay Watershed Education and Training (B-WET) 2024 Federal Funding Opportunity is now open. This competitive grant program supports environmental and place-based educational programs in the Great Lakes watershed. Applications are due February 29, 2024.

Successful projects provide Meaningful Watershed Educational Experiences (MWEEs) for students and related professional development for teachers, while advancing regional Great Lakes watershed education priorities. For additional resources on developing an application and examples of previously funded projects go to the Great Lakes B-WET website. The Great Lakes B-WET program is funded through the GLRI.
